- KERN Statistical Services, Inc. has been
involved in design and implementation of studies evaluating the effects
of intra- and inter-specific and anthropogenic stressors on a range of
species including rocky mountain elk, mule deer least Bell's
vireo, California gnatcatcher and Mexican spotted owl and a
variety of waterfowl.

These studies have
involved a combination of geostatistical, GIS and resource selection
methods resulting in spatially explicit assessments of effects.

KERN has been
involved in three studies quantifying the effects of military aircraft
noise at large United States Marine Installations.
